Sylvia was a great help to me when I was watchbill officer at NCI St. Alban's Head in 2009-2011, helping arrange the Open Days at the venue. I shall remember her fondly as a no-nonsense woman from whom those around her could only increase and improve their knowledge. A real character. She will be sadly missed.
